Over the following days, the group cycles on to Alberobello by way of a local cheese maker and among dry-stone huts known as trulli, scattered through grain fields and olive groves. Visits include a winery in Locorotondo, with its round old town perched above vineyards. The route then follows a coastal road with views over the Adriatic, arriving in Monopoli’s whitewashed old town.

Days vary between guided and free time, with optional rides into the countryside. The support vehicle means you can take the ride at your own pace, stopping to savour views, local produce and the quiet roads. The tour leaves from Monopoli after breakfast on day eight, with transfers arranged to Bari airport if needed.
