The next days concentrate on Petra, the so-called rose-red city carved from sandstone cliffs. The route includes Madaba’s Byzantine mosaics and Mount Nebo’s far-reaching views over the Dead Sea and beyond. Petra’s Siq, a narrow canyon, leads you to the Treasury, while time is left to climb to the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice without being rushed.

A shift of pace arrives in Wadi Rum’s desert, travelling across sand dunes in 4WDs and staying overnight in a Bedouin tent. Aqaba follows with options for snorkelling or beach relaxation before the tour’s final day by the Dead Sea, where floating and mud baths offer a curious experience. The tour ends back in Amman with time to pick up last-minute souvenirs.
