Svalbard & Arctic Explorer

This ten-night tour begins in Oslo with two nights spent discovering the capital’s architecture, from the Opera House roof to the Royal Palace, and a dinner cruise along Oslo Fjord. The city’s Ski Museum and Fram Museum offer a thoughtful introduction to Norway’s polar heritage.

Next, the group flies north to Longyearbyen on Spitsbergen island, where the midnight sun stretches daylight endlessly. After a brief exploration of this Arctic settlement and a visit to the Svalbard Museum, the journey continues with a seven-night expedition through the Svalbard archipelago. The itinerary is flexible, shaped by ice and weather, and includes fjords, glaciers, and wildlife such as Arctic foxes, reindeer and polar bears. There’s a focus on small boat excursions that bring the landscape closer, guided by specialists in glaciology, ornithology and marine biology.

With just 128 travellers aboard, the trip avoids the bustle of bigger vessels while navigating one of Europe’s remoter environments. The tour finishes with a return flight via Oslo, leaving with a collection of vivid memories and a new understanding of Arctic life.
