About the trip
This seven-night escorted tour by Explore Worldwide takes in some of the Dalmatian Coast’s most distinctive islands and cities. After starting in Split, whose Roman Palace sprawls across half the old town, you move on to Brac, where Zlatni Rat’s shifting beach offers a striking contrast between pine-fringed shore and turquoise sea.
From Brac, the tour crosses to Korcula Island, where dense pine forests once supplied Venetian fleets and vineyards still produce the local Grk grape. A visit to a family-run ecological olive farm adds a slice of traditional island life, along with tastings of local produce. The final days take you to Ston’s lengthy city walls and the well-preserved marble streets of Dubrovnik, where a walking tour passes medieval palaces and Game of Thrones staircases.
