History
This seven-night escorted holiday with Travelsphere begins by settling in the harbour town of Cavtat, close enough to Dubrovnik for a day visit but offering a quieter pace. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is reached on day two, where a local guide leads through limestone-paved streets and grand squares, followed by a cable car ride to the hills above with views reaching the Elaphiti Islands.
Midweek crosses into Montenegro for a day along the Bay of Kotor. Perast’s baroque buildings overlook the Adriatic and two islets, before the group explores the UNESCO-listed old town of Kotor, framed by steep limestone ridges. Returning to Croatia, the Konavle region offers distractions including folk music in Cilipi and a visit to a working olive mill, ending with a leisurely lunch by the Ljuta River’s old watermills.
The final days unfold at the hotel in Cavtat, with time to wander seaside promenades or unwind before a farewell dinner in the countryside. There is no rush here, and the sea remains a constant companion.
