Scandinavia's Jewels: Stockholm to Copenhagen

This escorted tour with Just You sets off from Stockholm, where the city’s 14 islands stretch between Lake Mälaren and the Baltic Sea. A guided day covers the Royal Palace, City Hall, the Vasa Museum with its 17th-century warship, and a boat trip slipping beneath a dozen bridges. Heading west, the tour visits Gripsholm Castle near Mariefred before arriving in Jönköping, known locally as The Pearl of the Lake and dotted with churches of many denominations.

From there the group travels to Glasriket Moose Park to see the animals quietly settled in their forest home, then stops in Lund to visit its well-visited cathedral. The tour reaches Copenhagen on the same day, where history and culture fill an architectural cityscape centred on its harbour. A guided city tour follows the next day, including Christiansborg Palace, Nyhavn and the Little Mermaid, concluding with the crown jewels at Rosenborg Castle.

The last full day is left free for personal discovery, with an optional canal cruise that offers a waterside view of Copenhagen’s key sights. The holiday winds down with a Scandinavian breakfast and a return flight home, having travelled steadily between city scenes and natural parks.
