About the trip

You then visit Puigcerda with a lakeside walk and sample medieval Besalu’s streets after a stop overlooking basalt cliffs at Castellfollit de la Roca. A wine and olive oil tasting en route to the Mediterranean coastal town of Roses provides a pleasant change of scene.

The highlight is a day aboard Le Train Rouge from Rivesaltes just across the border in France, winding through mountain scenery before returning to Spain by coach. Two free days let you linger on the beach or get to know Roses better, with enough time for a quiet swim or a relaxed walk. The tour ends after a return to Barcelona for flights home.
