About the trip

Next is a two-night stay on a modest houseboat in the Okavango Delta’s remote panhandle area, with windows opening onto the wilderness and opportunities for river launches. There’s a visit to Tsodilo Hills, a site rich with ancient rock paintings and views, before an extended journey north to Chobe National Park. This area is noted for its large elephant population and other wildlife, with morning and afternoon game drives.

The tour ends with two nights in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, including an afternoon at the falls where the Zambezi plunges over a cliff, and a sunset river cruise. The accommodation here features swimming pools and shaded terraces. Travel days can be long and roads bumpy, but wildlife and landscapes provide plenty to look at.
