About the trip
This four-night cruise with Ambassador Cruise Line sets off from London Tilbury towards Hamburg, a northern city where the legacy of the Hanseatic League meets the familiar bustle of a major port. Hamburg’s Christmas markets fill squares and courtyards with stalls selling marzipan and mulled wine, often framed by brick warehouses and the occasional canal.
After two days in Hamburg, the Ambition turns downstream to follow the River Elbe back towards London.
