Getting to the port

By train
Liverpool Lime Street is the main-line station, with direct trains from London Euston, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham. The terminal is about a mile away: a short taxi ride, or a walk of around twenty minutes downhill to the river.
By car
The M62 runs into the city from the east; the M53 and M57 serve the Wirral and the north. Follow signs for the waterfront and the Pier Head.
Parking
There is no parking at the quayside itself. Cruise parking is booked ahead, usually through the cruise line, at a car park with a transfer to the terminal.
By air
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is about eight miles south-east of the terminal; Manchester Airport is under an hour away by road.
