About the trip
Setting sail from London Tilbury, this cruise along Spain and Portugal’s southern and Atlantic coasts offers a variety of ports, each with its own character. Vigo opens the route with a chance to see the nearby pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela. Onwards to Cadiz, the oldest continuously inhabited city in Western Europe, where the winding streets invite quiet exploration.
Calls at Motril and Cartagena bring you to parts of the Mediterranean coast less frequented by tourists, with Cartagena notable for its Roman theatre and maritime history. Alicante and Almeria offer the usual Mediterranean sun and Spanish charm, before Gibraltar provides an unusual stop on a British vessel, with its famous Rock looming over the harbour.
