About the trip

Starting at London Tilbury, the Ambience heads north, calling first at Runavik, a town on the Faroe Islands known more for its quiet charm than tourist frills. The ship then reaches Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital, with its colourful harbour and low-slung houses edging lava fields. From here, the route moves further into Iceland’s fjord country, including Isafjordur, a compact settlement surrounded by steep coastal cliffs, and Akureyri, often called the country’s second city despite its modest scale.
