About the trip
Fred. Olsen's Balmoral departs from Piraeus, Athens, and sets a route through a mix of well-known and less crowded harbours in Greece, Albania, and the Adriatic. Stops include Ermoupoli on Syros with its neoclassical buildings and quiet cafés, the whitewashed streets and caldera views of Santorini, and the ancient atmosphere of Rhodes.
The cruise continues into the Adriatic with visits to Sarandë in Albania, Slovenia's Koper with its Venetian charm, and the historic cities of Ancona, Sibenik and Dubrovnik in Croatia, where medieval walls stand close by the sea.
