This cruise begins and ends in Newcastle, taking in eight Norwegian fjords over eight nights on Fred. Olsen’s Bolette. The itinerary traverses the Lysefjord, known for the steep cliffs near Pulpit Rock, before calling at Eidfjord and cruising the Hardangerfjord, where orchards line the shores.
Further inland, the ship navigates Maurangerfjord with its nearby Furebergsfossen waterfall, and reaches Skjolden, nestled at the head of the Lustrafjord, itself an arm of the Sognefjord – Norway’s longest and deepest fjord.
