About the trip
This small-group holiday with Just You follows a route through the southern United States that connects landmark music cities across four states. After arriving in Atlanta, the itinerary swiftly moves to Nashville, known as the world’s country music capital, where you can visit Studio B and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The pace is steady, with two nights in Nashville allowing room to absorb the city’s musical heritage.
Midway through the tour, there’s a pause in Muscle Shoals and Tupelo, where recording studios and Elvis Presley’s birthplace put a spotlight on a different side of American music history. Memphis offers a fuller picture: Sun Studios where Elvis first recorded, Graceland with its unmistakable grandeur, and the Stax Museum dedicated to soul music.
The final stop is New Orleans, holding on to its jazz legacy amidst the French Quarter’s streets and grand mansions like Stanton Hall. The included walking tours and the chance to spend a day at leisure here offer some breathing space after several days of music-heavy visits. The route runs south to north and ends with an overnight flight home from New Orleans.
