About the trip
This 22-night escorted tour from G Adventures takes you through several Indonesian islands, starting with Bali’s surf breaks and the rice terraces around Ubud. A sunrise hike up Mount Batur combines well-earned views with a soak in hot springs, while village walks and weaving demonstrations bring the local rhythms closer.
On Lombok, the hills offer treks among green rice terraces and traditional weaving villages. Meanwhile, Gili Trawangan invites snorkelling in clear waters and some informal nights out, with a three-island snorkel tour providing coral reefs just off the shore. The tour’s finale is Flores and Komodo National Park, where a three-day private boat trip includes kayaking through coves and nights camping beneath the stars. Visitors can also meet tribal communities in the mountainous villages of Wae Rebo.
