Cycle Turkey

The route climbs into more mountainous terrain after Fethiye, including a notable ascent on the slopes of Akdag, with apple orchards and cedar forests en route to a village homestay. The following days include cycling past the ruins of Tlos and the dramatic Saklikent Gorge, then down to the sandy shorelines of Patara, birthplace of Saint Nicholas, where the Roman ruins meet the sea.

The final day crosses agricultural land to the harbour town of Kalkan before the scenic coastal ride that finishes in Kas. The group stays overnight in local guesthouses and chalets, with a chance to soak away any tired muscles in a traditional hammam near the end. This is a holiday for riders who appreciate varied terrain and a mix of cultural sites rather than nonstop cycling.
