New Zealand Multisport

This New Zealand Multisport tour with G Adventures offers three weeks of activity spread between the North and South Islands. The route weaves from Franz Josef, where you cycle through Karangahake Gorge and sample a traditional hangi lunch, to Tongariro for a weather-permitting alpine crossing that demands sturdy boots. Along the way, you'll jet boat down the Whanganui River and have free time to explore Rotorua's thermal features.

The itinerary continues with a hike and sea kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park, visits to Punakaiki's pancake rocks and seal colony, and walks around Okarito Lagoon. The outdoor adventures include a full day on the Routeburn Track and a cruise through Milford Sound in Fiordland National Park, followed by hiking near Mt Cook and cycling through Wanaka.
