This nine-night itinerary with G Adventures moves from Bergen, the city known as Norway's 'Gateway to the Fjords', through some of the country's most distinct fjord and mountain scenery. It begins with a walking tour of Bergen before a railway journey sweeps inland across the high mountains to Flåm, where a private fjord cruise introduces surroundings that can feel as untouched as they are dramatic.

Highlights include a floating sauna experience on the water at Flåm and a pre-opening guided tour of the Norwegian Fjord Center in Geiranger, where the story of how these fjords took shape is told. Guests ascend the Loen Skylift for dinner with views over Nordfjord then take in the twisty turns of Trollstigen (Troll's Road) and ride the Romsdalen Gondola.
