From here, the group drives along the coast to Alleppey, where a local homestay invites you for the night — a brief but revealing insight into village life. The soundscape here is less honking vehicles and more birdsong and boat motors, a chance to settle into the slower rhythms of the region. Days also include orientation walks in Kollam and Fort Kochi, along with a ferry cruise through the quiet backwaters where water lilies and coconut palms lean close enough to touch.
