Eastern Turkey & Georgia Discovery

This thirteen-night tour with G Adventures explores Eastern Turkey and Georgia, visiting landmarks that range from the necropolis of Karakus Tumulus to the fortress-lined skyline of Tbilisi. The itinerary includes a sunset walk to Mount Nemrut’s summit, where colossal stone heads look across the landscape, and a boat ride on Lake Van, Turkey’s largest lake. In Georgia, the group encounters the Gergeti Trinity Church perched below Mount Kazbegi and takes a walking tour of the old town of Mtskheta, home to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

The pace balances guided excursions with moments for independent discovery, including hands-on cooking classes in Georgian khinkali and Terragarden cuisine.
