About the trip

This 26-day escorted tour by G Adventures takes in three countries across two continents. You begin in the cafés and streets of Barcelona, Madrid, Granada and Seville, using buses and trains to navigate Spain and Portugal’s cities, with a tapas crawl in Lisbon to round off the European leg. Afterward, a flight takes you to Morocco, where you meet local guides alongside your CEO. In Fès, you'll glimpse centuries of tradition amid the medina's tanneries, while Chefchaouen offers the unusual sight of blue-painted streets and houses.

Beyond the cities, the tour moves to the desert where you can try a camel ride or sandboarding among the Sahara dunes. The Atlas Mountains and Dades Gorge provide opportunities for walks with scenic views, and the coastal town of Essaouira adds a different dimension with its beach and traditional hammam experience. The accommodation ranges from hostels and simple hotels in Europe to desert camps and surf houses in Morocco, touching on a variety of local flavours and practicalities.
