You'll visit Volubilis, where Roman ruins peel away the layers of Morocco’s past, and Aït Ben Haddou, whose high-walled kasbahs recall a time before motor cars. At the Sahara, a camel ride to the dunes culminates in sunset views impossible to reach by anything else, while Todra Gorge offers paths through villages clinging to the Atlas Mountains. Accommodation varies, often in locally run hotels with a traditional character rather than the polish of bigger resorts.

This is a tightly paced escorted tour with a group of around a dozen, led by a Chief Experience Officer who doubles as a guide and facilitator. It touches on many facets of Morocco, both urban and natural, with a few hours to take in mint tea and the assorted pleasures of the markets.
