About the trip

This 10-night tour runs from Port Elizabeth westward along the Garden Route to Cape Town, offering a mix of wildlife, landscapes and local flavours. The journey begins with a safari in Addo Elephant National Park where the giants of the bush roam. Tsitsikamma National Park offers trails shaded by towering trees including the Big Tree, while Robberg Nature Reserve near Plettenberg Bay invites walkers to amble the Gap Circuit, with views of the Atlantic.

Knysna presents itself with the opportunity to explore its Heads and town centre, before a scenic drive takes the group to Franschhoek, stopping at Mossel Bay and Barrydale along the way. Lunch and wine tasting in Barrydale's vineyards break up the route nicely. Cape Town rounds things off with a cable car climb to Table Mountain and a walk up Signal Hill.
