About the trip

In seven days, this G Adventures small-group tour travels through some of Turkey’s most historically rich and visually distinctive locations. It begins amid the somber remains of Gallipoli, where the echoes of WWI linger among the trenches.

The route takes you next to the legendary city of Troy, famous for its wooden horse and layers of archaeological intrigue. From there, wander the expansive ruins of Ephesus, where marble columns and ancient streets evoke the weight of Roman influence. The journey then leads to Pamukkale, known for its terraces of white mineral-rich pools which are quite unlike anything else in the region.

A short domestic flight brings the group to Istanbul to round off the itinerary. Here, the sensory buzz of bazaars, the ornamented interiors of mosques and the rhythm of tea houses invite a slower pace after days of walking.
