About the trip

This G Adventures small-group tour traces a route from the coastal realms of Vancouver Island through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. After boarding a ferry along the Inside Passage, expect the company of orcas and sea lions while gliding through glacial fjords. Inland, the tour includes time in Smithers, where a day devoted to First Nations culture reveals the stories behind a collection of totem poles.

Beyond culture, the tour visits Jasper National Park and pauses at Mount Robson, Canada’s highest peak, with a stop at its interpretation centre. Along the Icefields Parkway, views open onto vast glaciers and mountain ranges, such as the Columbia Icefield. Rest and recover in hot springs near Jasper, an easy pause after the long travel days along private roads and ferries.
