About the trip
This 10-night escorted tour by G Adventures takes in some of Pakistan’s less-visited corners alongside its iconic cities. The trip begins in Lahore, where the Walled City’s maze of stone archways leads past the Badshahi Mosque and the lively Food Street, a popular spot after dark.
From the capital Islamabad, there are visits to the Lok Virsa Museum and the village of Saidpur, as well as a chance to see the Faisal Mosque at sunset. Then it’s onwards to the Karakoram mountains in Hunza Valley, where trails lead to Baltit and Altit Forts and across glaciers such as Passu. Along the way, a women-run carpet weaving centre and traditional village stops show living local heritage.
