About the trip
This small-group tour from Explore Worldwide centres on Inari, a quiet village 120 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle. The itinerary offers a slow and steady introduction to the winter wilderness around the third largest lake in Finland. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing come first: traditional ways to navigate a Narnia-like landscape of rolling hills and frozen waterways, eased by hot drinks and local guides.
