This seven-night escorted tour by Just You begins in Prague, with a walking tour of the city's gothic and baroque architecture, a wine tasting in its historic wine district, and time to take in the Castle District’s views. A day at leisure offers the option of visiting spa towns like Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne, with a brewing detour to Plzen.

Leaving the Czech Republic, the route passes through Saxon Switzerland’s sandstone formations en route to Dresden. Here, a guided stroll brings the city’s post-war restoration and baroque charm to life, with an optional evening concert at the Zwinger Palace. The following day visits Moritzburg Castle, surrounded by woodland and lakes, before continuing on to Meissen’s porcelain museum and then Berlin.

Berlin features in the last two days with a guided tour covering landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag and remnants of the Berlin Wall. A day to explore independently can include the famous Markthalle Neun or Berlin’s museums. The farewell dinner takes place in the TV Tower, offering a wide view across the city that has lived through more than a few turns of history.
