The route includes Vigan’s cobbled streets and horse-drawn carriages before heading inland to the mountain towns of Sagada and Bontoc, where hanging coffins and tattoos reveal ancient customs. Walks among the rice terraces around Banaue, Hapao and Batad offer views of the terraces' stepped fields carved into mountainous slopes. The trek up Mount Pinatubo’s crater follows the path of one of the 20th century’s most dramatic eruptions.
The tour ends with a short flight to Bohol island for three days’ free time on Alona Beach. This extension leaves travellers to their own devices, with no leader, providing space to rest and try snorkelling or diving in warm waters. The pace of this holiday balances adventure and cultural history before a low-key finish on the beach.
