About the trip

This small-group tour with G Adventures begins with an eight-day trek up Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route. Starting in forest and moorland, the path ascends to alpine deserts at the summit near Uhuru Peak, allowing walkers to camp under particularly clear skies. After returning to Moshi, the journey continues with a safari through some of Tanzania's best-known parks. There's time in Tarangire to spot elephant herds, a descent into the vast Ngorongoro Crater, and several safari drives across the Serengeti, where the plains open up and wildebeest and lions may be encountered.
