About the trip

This G Adventures small-group tour takes you through some of Southern Africa’s most renowned wild spaces and natural spectacles. Beginning in Victoria Falls, you have time to take a guided tour of the falls themselves, which often send up plumes of mist and rainbows. Next, the journey heads to Hwange National Park, where elephants move freely across its expansive plains — a sight that remains largely unchanged from decades past.

Following Hwange, the tour crosses into Botswana for game drives and river cruises in Chobe National Park, a habitat for elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. Highlights include a boat cruise along the Chobe River, providing a different perspective on the animals gathered at the water's edge. Between the wildlife, there’s an opportunity to experience local culture in Victoria Falls through community cooking and performances, adding a human element to the wild backdrop.
