About the trip
This three-week escorted tour with G Adventures begins in Cambodia with an early morning visit to Angkor Wat, where the ruins catch the soft light of sunrise. A short trek and kayak session take you deeper into the Cardamom Mountains, staying at a tented camp in one of Cambodia’s less-travelled wild places. Thailand provides a change of pace: Bangkok’s chaotic energy is tempered by a dinner cruise on the Chaophraya River, and there’s time on islands and in Kanchanaburi, where you’ll sleep on a floating hotel near the haunting memorial of the Thai-Burma Railway.
