About the trip

This G Adventures small group tour makes for a practical introduction to Southern Africa, travelling by overland truck and camping for most nights. The route begins with thundering Victoria Falls, where the spray almost obscures the steep gorge, then crosses into Botswana to the Okavango Delta for canoeing and bush camping. From there, it’s onto Etosha National Park in Namibia, where wildlife safaris take place from open vehicles.

The trip also includes red sand dunes at Sossusvlei and walks through the Namib Desert, a landscape of vast skies and ancient rock formations at Spitzkoppe.
